This is a fun, casual bike scavenger hunt connecting all 3 Second Street Brewery Locations. Completing the loop is a 12 mile ride, however, you only need to complete half the scavenger list to win! Feel free to cut your ride short if needed. Bring your helmet, your camera phone and your friends.
Pick up a scavenger hunt route on the day of the event at any of the 3 Second Street locations and follow a suggested route via an interconnected network of bike lanes and trails. Take selfie pictures of the scavenger hunt items, with either yourself or your bike in the image! Some items can be found at more than one point along the route, others are specific landmarks.
You are welcome to participate in the ride solo, or with a group. Kids are welcome!
You can start and finish at any of the three Second Street locations, at any time, – including the soon-to-be-open Taproom on Rufina Street, where guided tours will be given during the afternoon at 2:15, 3:15, and 5:15
This self guided event takes roughly 2 hours to complete. Riders who complete 50% or more of the scavenger hunt list will receive a commemorative pint glass (to be picked up at a later date) and entered to win a drawing for second street swag including shirts, hats, gift cards, Hydroflasks and more!
Riders will also be entered in a drawing to win a sweet new bike! The drawing for the bike will be made on Friday, May 19th at the Bike To Work Week Fiesta at Railyard Park.
To show that they have finished 50% of the scavenger hunt or more, riders may present their photos to staff at the Rufina Taproom after their ride, or may email photos within 24 hours to firstname.lastname@example.org
Happy Hour price beer coupons will be given to riders when you pick up your scavenger hunt list so you can enjoy a pint along the ride. If you plan to have a beer, don’t forget to bring your I.D. and ride safely!
Note: Beer will NOT be served at the Rufina Street Taproom, only at the Original and Railyard Second Street locations. Rufina Taproom will have bottled water and snacks for riders though, so be sure to stop by!
