The band consists of four musicians. John T Morris on lead guitar and vocals Ron Whitmore on keyboard and vocals\, Pete Ortega on bass and vocals and Arie Brasser on drums. High Altitude has played all over the state of New Mexico and provides dance music as well as listening ballads. John Morris is also a stone mason and owns New Mexico Stone. Arie Brasser was drummer and Executive director of Disney on Ice. Peter Ortega is retired as Head Building Inspector for the City of Santa  Fe and Ron Whitmore is the former owner of the local Art Supply Store Artisan. The band has a very broad repertoire of music and is bound to please any crowd. \n  \n  \nfree / all ages

DESCRIPTION:The Canyon Road Blues Jam is a long running dance party which was established years ago\, but had a multi-year run and earned its name at El Farol\, led by Tone Forrest.  The jam always includes a healthy dose of blues\, and R&B\, along with any number of styles of music\, including rock\, country\, and even some new wave\, alt-country\, jam\, and glam music.  If it is good music that we can play\, (or learn) we are down!  \nThe jam was revived at El Farol after Covid under the leadership of Pete White and the house band\, which currently includes Pete White\, Josh Martin\, Tom Rheam and Kevin Pledger.    The jam is currently running on the first Wednesday of the month Tumbleroot Distillery.
